Birding Oaxaca, Mexico

September 10 – 16, 2018

$2120.00 Per Person

Minimum of 6 and Max of 10 ppl

Come join us with Eric Antonio Martinez, owner and guide of Birding Mexico Tours, and Martin Hagne, Executive Director of GCBO, in one of Mexico’s most bird rich areas!   This trip will get you lifer after lifer, as well as a rich cultural experience.  The regional cuisine alone promises to make this a great trip.

We will spend five full days birding the different habitats in Oaxaca!  We will search for tropical species such as the Citreoline Trogon, Happy Wren, Red-Breasted Chat, Golden-Cheeked Woodpecker, Russet-Crowned Motmot, Orange-Breasted Bunting, White-throated Magpie Jay, Emerald Toucanet, Red Warbler, and the Oaxaca endemic Blue-Capped Hummingbird.

This trip includes local transportation, hotel, meals, shuttle from and to airport, entry fees to parks, and guide services.  It does NOT include airfare, alcoholic drinks, tips and other personal expenses.  The best flight seems to be from Houston International to Oaxaca International Airport with a stopover in MX City using AeroMexico.
