The person stated above hereby enters into this contract with Gulf Coast Bird Observatory and agrees to participate in
The Great Texas Birding Classic on:

- Tournament birding involves some risk of harm due to traveling and local hazards. Therefore, the above party agrees not to sue or make claim against Gulf Coast Bird Observatory or Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept. and its officers, employees, agents and volunteers, for reasons such as personal injury, loss or damage to personal property, etc.
- The above mentioned party also agrees not to hold liable Gulf Coast Bird Observatory or Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept.
and its officers, employees, agents and volunteers, for any trespass to property, property damage, wrongful death or personal injury
to others caused by the participator or by the participatorÃ¢ÃÂÃÂs activities.
- The participant agrees to abide by the published rules of the Tournament.
- The decision of the judges in all rulings is final. The party mentioned above agrees not to sue or make claim against Gulf Coast
Bird Observatory or Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept., its officers, employees, agents and volunteers for any ruling made by the judges.
Secondly, the participant agrees not to sue the before stated against comments of the judges of the Tournament, or for any cause
of action in libel, slander, defamation of character, tort of outrage, invasion of privacy, fraud, or deceptive trade practice - During your participation, photos may be taken in the field or at sanctioned events. The GCBO and TPWD may use photos for
promotional purposes.
- We are concerned for the safety of all our participants and urge you to recognize your limits during the Tournament..

DIRECTIONS: Enclose registration fee (see below) with your check made payable to Great Tx Birding Classic-GCBO. This fee includes registration, tickets for all team members to Awards Ceremony, T-shirts for all team members, a donation to the Conservation Cash Grand Prizes and a chance to win valuable prizes. For sponsored teams, the fee also includes tickets for two representatives of the sponsoring
organization to attend the Awards Ceremony. Lodging, travel expenses, and food (except at Awards Ceremony) are not included.

Registration Fees:

INDEPENDENT TEAM
Adult or Gliders:                                  $75 per team member to compete in only one Sectional Tournament
                                                             $100 per team member to compete in the Weeklong Tournament
Roughwings:                                         $30 per youth participant
Outta-Sight Song Birder or Big Sit!:     $30 per team member 19 years old and older; $15 per team member 18 years old and under

SPONSORED TEAM
Adult or Gliders:                    $2,500 per team paid by sponsoring organization for the Weeklong Tournament
                                               $1,500 per team paid by sponsoring organization for one Sectional Tournament
Roughwings:                           $600 per team paid by sponsoring organization
Outta-Sight Song Birder:         $600 per team paid by sponsoring organization
Big Sit!:                                   $600 per team paid by sponsoring organization

Due Date: To avoid late fees, all payments and forms are due by March 28, 2008.

Late Fees: Late Independent Team registrants will be charged an additional $25 per team member.
Late Sponsored Teams will be charged an additional $200 per team.
