Have you ever wondered what it means to be a Wildlife Biologist?  Well, here is your chance to experience a day in the life of an Ornithologist! Join GCBO Coastal Biologist, Taylor Bennett, on a trip for some insight into the world of field biology. On this guided trip, we will take you exploring along one of our beach field sites where you can observe a suite of waterbird species and observe nesting Wilson’s Plovers. If you’re lucky we might be able to spot some newly hatched chicks. We will also take you to several hidden gems that serve as critical areas for waterbirds and discuss GCBO’s ongoing effort to protect birds and how we use field research to support bird conservation.
