Family Days at Gulf Coast Bird Observatory are new events inspired by our Summer Bird Camp. Each Family Day will feature a different curriculum, including short lessons, fun activities, and exploring nature. This year, we will be learning about protecting birds, birding, and ecology.

You must register ahead of time to attend!

SCHEDULE:

11/27/21- Bring the whole family to Gulf Coast Bird Observatory for a lesson in ecology. We will learn about food webs and where birds fit in, then catch some of their favorite snacks- bugs! We will learn the basics of hiking and animal tracking, then finish the day with a nature walk on our trails.

12/4/21- Bring the whole family to Gulf Coast Bird Observatory for family days! In this class about helping birds, we will learn about the main threats facing birds and how we can help.
