Do you still need those 3 species of rosy finches for your life list?  Want to see one up close, and possibly hold on in your hand?  Then this two day, two night trip is for you!  We will visit the Rio Grande Bird Research banding station on the Sandia Crest above Albuquerque, NM, with rare access to view the actual banding process.  We will also bird the Albuquerque area for a day and a half.  GCBO’s Executive Director, Martin Hagne, will meet you in ABQ, and provide transportation and guiding from there.  Overnight accommodations are included for two nights! Airport pickup/dropoff and travel while birding is furnished by GCBO. Meals and travel to the ABQ are not included.  

Must be used during rosy-finch season:  mid December 2019 – mid March 2020, and banding is only open on Sundays.  Dates to be coordinated with Martin Hagne.
