Smith Point Hawkwatch report for Nov 6. Moderate south winds and great clouds to the west all day. Two Red-tails today were at the opposite ends of the Red-tailed spectrum, a very light, probable adult Krider’s and one a very dark immature Western. A great example of phenotypic plasticity. Winnie Burkett helped with the cloud watching and unraveling the mysterious Red-taileds. Bob
