Tad reports 5 migrating raptors today.
Sharp-shinned Hawk 1
Mississippi Kite 3
Osprey 1
Our first of the season Sharp-shinned Hawk and Osprey! Strong winds and storms kept passerine migration down. However, a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak seen in flight was notable. A group of 8 Common Nighthawks and two groups of Black Terns were unusual sightings for the point. Visitor’s included Jana and Christine from Golden Triangle Audubon and Sara Harrison.
