Bob reports another south wind day which makes it not so great for migrating raptors. He still managed 15 birds though and the diversity is picking up. Broad-winged Hawk 5 Red-tailed Hawk 1 Mississippi Kite 4 Swallow-tailed Kite 2 Peregrine Falcon 1 White-tailed Kite 2 Also about 40 Wood Storks.

Bob is back! Unfortunately he only had one countable bird today – a lone Mississippi Kite. Lot of other stuff to look at though. Local Osprey and Cooper’s Hawk, many passerines passing through. He had a Great-crested Flycatcher in the trees by the tower. Come on out and see for yourself!

Well not a stellar day at the point especially considering the day Joe had yesterday. Only four countable raptors and we got rained out around noon.
