27 countable birds today and EVERY one of them was a Swallow-tailed Kite. Woohoo! Joe Kennedy had the best day yet this season. Other non-countable birds included:

1 Broad-winged Hawk
1 Red-tailed Hawk
1 White-tailed Hawk adult
1 Red-shouldered Hawk very young flew in to perch on the back of the pond
1 Swainson’s Hawk
2 Ospreys

Vermilion flycatcher young of the year on Hawkins camp just past the subdivision.

Olive-sided flycatcher was on post but harassed by a very young mockingbird.

Lots of swallows, many Trees early and Bank later with Barn and Cliff all day.

A few gnatcatchers, Dickcissels, Yellow Warblers and the local young Painted Bunting plus 3 Wood Storks and 1 Magnificent Frigatebird.

Things are heating up at the point!
