Description

Spend the day on Tres Palacios Bay with GCBO Director of Conservation Research Susan Heath and Master Naturalist Bob Friedrichs on Bob’s boat checking on the nesting American Oystercatchers and other water birds. If you’re lucky we might even catch an oystercatcher or band a chick. Your day on the water will be followed by a four course gourmet meal with wine prepared by locally renowned Chef Ruth and a local birding Q&A with Bob Friedrichs. Spend the night at The Peaceful Pelican Bed and Breakfast, a beautiful and tranquil setting overlooking Tres Palacios Bay with gorgeous sunrises and delicious breakfasts. Paula, the proprietor of the B&B will welcome you and make you feel pampered during your stay! Two to four participants must be physically able to spend a day on a boat including lots of sun.
