Capture amazing wildlife photography from a kayak, with wildlife photographer and avian enthusiast Jeff Schaberg. You and a guest will receive a half day of fun, roaming around Armand and Horse Pen bayou’s paddling trail. After a safety briefing, you’ll depart from the boat ramp just before sunrise, to be on the water for “golden hour”. You’ll learn the basics of safely using your own camera gear to capture amazing images from a kayak. This is an outdoor adventure with a focus on photography. Jeff will provide instruction on the proper camera settings, composition, technique and approach, for getting lots of “keepers” on your memory card. You’ll look for Herons and Egrets, Kingfishers, Osprey, Gulls, Pelicans, Cormorants, Ducks, Bitterns, and an occasional Alligator.

Provided for You: Kayaks and kayak equipment, life jackets, dry bags, ride to and from pickup point, coffee on the water, light snack.

You Provide: DSLR camera with minimum 300mm lens.
